The 8th PRISM Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD Short Film Festival 2025 concluded recently with a prestigious Award Ceremony at the Pro-Chancellor Arts Centre, UBD.

Present was Dr Haji Abdul Hanif bin Dato Paduka Haji Mahadi, UBD's Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Sustainability.

The awards were given to 7 recipients in recognition of the achievements of talented young filmmakers from universities across ASEAN, including UBD's partner university in Spain.

This is the fourth year the event has been organised under the ASEAN University Network on Culture and the Arts, the 8th UBD PRISM received over 80 short film submissions from 17 higher education institutions across ASEAN, including Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
